Numbers released by Flurry Analytics yesterday suggested that Google’s Nexus One had sold around 135,000 units in 74 days (the same amount of time it took the iPhone to hit a million) — not a staggering number by any measure.

JEE Record/Replay Debugging Tool; The First to be Hosted

Reproducing a bug is one of the most problematic, “needle in a haystack”-type issues that a software development organization can face.  In order to find that bug again so that it doesn’t resurface at a critical time (they always do), you need to recreate the conditions in which the bug first appeared as accurately as you can.  That means setting up the same database, application…

Micropayments and Subscriptions: How Business Models for Startups are Shifting

Back in early February, while aboard a red-eye to New York, Dave McClure wrote a long, humorous, rambling, profanity-laden rant of a blog post that focused on startup business models. A chair to scratch your itches

If there’s one thing I hate to do without the aid of technology, it’s scratch my own back. That’s why I am pretty pumped about the itch chair, which is a chair with a built in mechanical back scratcher. Yep, if you’re sitting in the chair and feel an itch, simply reach down and run your fingers along the trackpad underneath it

Logitech Harmony 650 remote review

Fewer products are more appropriately named than the Logitech Harmony series of smart remotes. They do wonderful things to take home entertainment systems, comprised of a disparate jumble of mismatched devices, and turn them into peaceful entities that work together for the betterment of your living room — you half expect doves with olive branches in their mouths to fly out of the box when you get one. Alas, there are neither birds nor branches included with the company’s latest entrants to the series, the 600 and 650 announced two weeks ago , but still they offer the best value amongst the current Harmony lineup.
