Testing the Apple wireless keyboard

The one thing I’ve hated doing since I picked up the iPad was anything involving typing. The concept of touching icons with a fingertip works in a wonderfully intuitive manner. But when you have to type out a password or anything longer than a tweet, it’ frustrating an slow.

Google’s New OS Will Offer Remote Desktop Capabilities

Google’s upcoming Chrome operating system, a new OS that will, according to the search giant, arrive on netbook computers sometime later this year, is also going to offer a feature Google engineers have dubbed, unofficially, “Chromoting.” What’s chromoting, you ask? It’s remotely accessing your PC applications via the browser.

Now you too can wear the Iron Man 2 Suitcase Suit, sort of

One of the coolest parts of Iron Man 2 was when Tony Stark unveiled his suitcase suit, which got him fully equipped in a matter of seconds. Unfortunately, it’s not quite realistic enough for you to own yet , but here’s the next best thing: a molded leather suit that looks just like it. This motorcycle suit not only looks badass, but it’ll keep your body protected if you happen to fall off your bike on some rough pavement

$25 million yacht hides a car inside its hull

Yachts are cool and all, but what are you supposed to do when you get to the shore? Swedish boat designer Eduard Gray has the answer: drive off of your boat in a matching sports car. He calls his creation the Strand Craft 122 (the back of which you can see pictured above), and he based its around the Ferrari Testa Rossa.

Power Up With An Icon

The Icon Battery Pack for iPhone matches the uber-sophistication of Apple and delivers the extra punch with its visible “battery power” status. It uses EL lighting technology (supposedly the first to do so in the world!) for indicating the power status on its display and looks really swank! Features include additional talk time of up to 3 hours, or audio playback up to 18 hours. The company states that it is compatible with 3G and 3GS, I reckon a 4G version should be soon on the cards.

Behold! The Living Pixels!

It’s a rare day when I or any of my compatriots here at Yanko use the real title of the project in the title of the post for the project, but it just sounded so sweet today. Kinda like a monster of futurism! And that’s what it is! Behold! This is a lighting system that goes by the name “Living Pixels” and it’s designers have taken that which already exists, charging it with the true energy of design-perfect creativity, creating light! Lovely, colorful light! So what’s used here? You might ask.

Linux: code formatter/beautifier

Usually I’m using Polistyle tool that integrated into NuSphere PhpED, but with latest Wine update, my PhpED is broken, file open command is not working and also the Polistyle code formatter. I’m often do re-formatting of the PHP codes, especially when working on other programmer’s code so this Polistyle is very helpful. Searching on Ubuntu apt repository, there’s only one application that will do what Polistyle can: universalindentgui .
